Fit Spring Assist to Swivel Chain Drive

Remove the End Cap

1. Use a phillips head screwdriver to remove the small screw that secures the cap to the chain drive. The cap will then fall off to expose the screw underneath.

Insert Chain Drive Into Spring Assist

2. Grab your spring assist and insert the chain drive into it.
3. Twist the spring assist to get the chain drive into the slot.

Secure the Spring Assist

4. Screw in the screw to fix the spring assist to the chain drive.

Apply Spring Tension

5. Apply the appropriate tension to your spring. The number of turns and the direction of turns required will vary based the size of the blind. We cover this information in our how to retrofit a Roller Blind spring assist video.
