Roman or Panel Glide Not Long Enough for Window?
If your Roman or Panel Glide Blinds have battens and are slightly too short for your window then there's a chance that the fabric hasn't had a chance to drop out over time. You can expect the fabric to lengthen by a few millimetres per batten over the course of a few weeks. If you want to get it fitting perfectly straight away, you can speed up the process by steaming the Blinds.
1. Using a steamer apply steam to the battens starting from top to bottom.
2. Ensure you keep the steamer moving horizontally across the battens to prevent excess heat that could lead to damage.
3. While steaming pull down on the bottom rail to help the fabric extend out of the battens.
4. Repeat this process for all battens. You can expect to gain 4-6mm of additional length per batten.
